4th May Twinning Anniversary
We would just like to thank Mortons Fork for all their efforts in making
the day go well, Paul Cornwall for supplying entertainment, Minster Playhouse
for an excellent preview of songs from the new show, Ben at Bens Supermarket
for supplying 2 vouchers for raffle prizes and to Minster Mayhems for
being in the parade and dancing round the Maypole, also Minster Carnival
Court for walking in the parade and selling raffle tickets which they
will also be doing on Minster Day and thankyou to Dennis Fletcher for
making a very large wrought iron planter which was given to the French
as a gift and they gave us the giant nun which they had made for us as
a gift.Thanks go to the British Legion for organising the meet and greet.
Thankyou to everyone who supported the event by watching the small parade
and attending the Anniversary meal in the hall. Armbouts-Cappel will be
hosting us next year. All of this was organised by your local Twinning
Association, watch this site for all forthcoming activities.
