FREECYCLE

What is Freecycle ? It is a means of reducing landfill by the recycling of goods and equipment you no longer need, but feel may be of use to someone else, and it saves you a trip to the local tip (maybe it's too large to drop off at the charity shop, or it's the type of item they are unable to accept). The main stipulation is that items offered must be 'FREE'

Thanet Freecycle now boasts over 1720 members and rising daily !!!
We've seen things given away on the Thanet site as diverse as a dozen ceramic white tiles and half a tin of lilac emulsion to working pianos, laptops, roadworthy cars, 4x4's and anything and everything in between.
