Other Notes:
The Nursery is KCC registered and inspected
by Ofsted. It provides for 45 children from 18 months to
5 years, with a register of approximately 80. The Nursery
also provides Out of School Care for children between 4
and 11 years and is KCC registered to provide School Holiday
Care for 25 children aged between 5 and 11 years.
The Nursery is open 51 weeks a year, 5 days a week from
8am to 6pm. Children are taken to and collected from Minster
C.E.P. School by Nursery Staff.
Fees, on an hourly basis, must be paid daily or in advance,
with a small charge incurred for lunch.
The Nursery aims to :-
Encourage children to learn, play and co-operate with others
in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
Encourage children to value themselves and develop independence
and self confidence
Provide a balance across the areas of learning and experience
appropriate to the needs and stage of development of the
individual child.
Value and welcome close links with parents.
The Nursery values the importance of parents views and give
them due consideration at all times. Staff are always available
to discuss with parents any information or problems.
